Job Description

A school monitor oversees the general safety of a school's campus. As a school monitor, you help provide a safe learning environment for the students, teachers, and other school staff. Your job duties range from patrolling the grounds to intervening in fights to compiling reports on student behavior.

Job Qualifications

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, but those with a degree of A.S and above are preferred.
• Able to develop relationships and utilize de-escalation tactics to ensure student safety. Training is provided on those tactics.
• Able to move easily and quickly to de-escalate or break up situations.
• Comfortable breaking up altercations.
• Care for the students being served.

Highly preferred, but not required:

• Bilingual in English & Spanish
• Security Experience, certification
• Security guard certification
