11-month, CSE Chairperson - Secondary

Start Date: Immediate

Starting Salary: $86,107.00 (commensurate with experience)    

The CSE Chairperson shall be responsible to the Director of Special Education and Educational Support Services for the overall operation of the CSE (Committee for Special Education), as well as to make arrangements for the placement and/or educational programs for students with disabilities of the District.

Qualification Requirements:  

• Master’s degree or higher in education and proper administrative certification (SDL).

• Preferred to have one (1) or more years of proven administrative experience.

• Five (5) years of successful teaching experience with strong instructional background. Experienced instructional leader that has led positive and needed changes in educational environment(s) through student academics. 

• Skills to manage students and programs, communicate effectively, problem solving.

• Knowledge of district policies and special education regulations.

• Knowledge of research based best practices.

• Demonstrates competence in collaboration with leadership, staff members, and families.
